Taking to Twitter yet again today, Nintendo of America has announced its latest mobile app, Mario Kart Tour, and that it will be launching sometime during fiscal year 2019.
Since Nintendo has thus far referred to Mario Kart Tour as a “mobile application” rather than a “mobile game” (as it has referred to its previous mobile games), I’m curious if this isn’t some kind of spectator app for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (but really, it’s probably some bite-sized Mario Kart game).
Nintendo’s fiscal year runs from April 1 through March 31, so it is possible we could see the game as early as this April, though it’s highly unlikely.
