We finally have a release window for Nintendo Switch’s paid online service! According to a tweet from the official Nintendo of America Twitter account, the premium online service will be launching in September 2018.

We learned last year that the Nintendo Switch Online would be launching sometime this year and would have different pricing based on in which size chunks the service is purchased. Also supposedly still coming is the Classic Game Selection service.
While it’s great to hear Nintendo Switch Online is still coming this year, it’s a bit dismaying that it’s still several months away. But with the full service launching in September along with Classic Game Selection, could Virtual Console (or its spiritual successor) be on its way as well?
