According to a tweet from Nintendo of America, we’ll be getting a brand-new Nintendo Direct tomorrow at 6pm PT, featuring Arms and Splatoon 2…again. Where’s my Pokémon Stars announcement, Nintendo?
At any rate, the majority of the presentation will focus on Arms, seemingly to all cap off with a new trailer for Splatoon 2.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad we’re getting more info on upcoming Nintendo titles…but I wish we’d be getting more new announcements, rather than beating a dead horse on games we already know a pretty good deal about. We already think Arms is suffering from an identity crisis, and I think over-exposure to Splatoon 2 might make us fatigued of the game before it’s even released. Perhaps, though, like with the last Direct, they’ll be showing us how different Splatoon 2 is from its predecessor.
