The next game in a slew of releases from Devolver Digital finally has a release date. Sabotage’s The Messenger will release on Nintendo Switch and PC on August 30, 2018 after much anticipation.
Originally revealed back in March’s Nindie Showcase, The Messenger gained both critical and popular attention due to its gameplay mechanic of switching between 8-bit and 16-bit art styles. The game appears to be a Ninja Gaiden-esque action platformer with intense boss fights and an intriguing story which sees a young ninja vying to save his clan from utter annihilation.
