Have you been playing Splatoon 2 lately? If, like me, you’ve lapsed a bit (there are so many great games out now), this might just give you a reason to jump back in. Nintendo has announced that Splatoon 2 will be getting two huge content updates this holiday.
The first update, releasing on November 23, adds a new stage for Salmon Run, new gear and hairstyles, and other features. Additionally, new battle stages will be rolling out starting November 24. The second update, coming sometime mid-December, will introduce a new Ranked Battle mode called Clam Blitz. Both updates will be free.
I only ever jump into Splatoon 2 during Splatfests anymore, so this will definitely be a welcome addition to bring me back to the battlefield (inkfield?). Be sure to check out the video below to see some of what’s coming in these free updates.
