Poof! Mr. Shifty will be arriving on Nintendo Switch and Steam-enabled devices next week—April 13, in fact—with details on a console release to come later. Described as Hotline Miami meets Nightcrawler, the game will see players control the titular Mr. Shifty, using his teleportation and stealth powers to break into the world’s most secure facility.
First announced at E3 2016, Mr. Shifty has come a long way in its development cycle. Made up of ex-Halfbrick studio employees (Fruit Ninja), Australian-based developer Team Shifty has been hard at work in tandem with publisher tinyBuild to release the Nintendo Switch version alongside the Steam version of the game. Mr. Shifty will feature full HD Rumble support on Nintendo Switch.
PC players can take part in the open beta of Mr. Shifty until the game’s full release on April 13.
What do you think of this new game? Have you tried the Steam open beta yet? Do you think this will make a nice addition to the Switch’s library? Let us know by leaving a reply!
