Monster Hunter finally makes its way to Switch! In a press release, developer and publisher Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate will make the series’ western debut on Nintendo Switch on August 28, 2018.
Series fans will remember that Monster Hunter Generations released to critical acclaim on Nintendo 3DS back in 2016 in the west (2015 in Japan, and as Monster Hunter XX on Switch last year, only in Japan), and Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate on Switch is the follow-up to that title. Players of the first game on 3DS will be able to transfer their save data and continue with their hunters on the Nintendo Switch version, though there are currently no details on how players would be able to transfer said data. Additionally, Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate will be playable at Capcom’s booth at E3 2018.
