In what we think may have originally been the “world premiere” announcement meant to be revealed at tomorrow’s The Game Awards 2018, Epic Games has announced that a new mode for Fortnite, Fortnite Creative, will be launching tomorrow, December 6, for Season 7 Battle Pass owners and on December 13 for everyone.
Fortnite Creative is a mode in which players will be able to take control of their own island and build to their hearts’ content. Players can “design games, battle friends in new ways, and build the Fortnite of their dreams,” according to an official press release. All player-created content will be saved, too.
Season 7 Battle Pass owners jumping in on December 6 can invite their friends in-game to play on their personal island, and the mode rolls out to everyone on December 13.
