Free items for everyone! The latest update for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Version 1.3.1 rolled out this morning with a few updates, including an update to a bug in The Master Trials, various other bug fixes, and, most notably, that in-game items can be obtained from the Nintendo Switch News channel.
The news channel, expected to launch tomorrow, will be called “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Tips from the Wild” and can be accessed through News on the Home menu. There aren’t any details of what exactly this News channel will include or what items may be obtained from it, but the Version 1.3.1 patch notes mention that certain items may not be obtainable based upon your game progress and location.
