Could this fall be any more packed with games? Apparently Telltale Games thinks so, as it’s been revealed that the first season of Batman: The Telltale Series is coming to Nintendo Switch this fall.

The series, along with Telltale’s Guardians of the Galaxy‘s first season, was confirmed back in August to be coming to the platform, but according to a tweet from Telltale’s communications director Job Stauffer, the first season of Batman will indeed be coming this fall.

In an interview with MCV at Gamescom, Stauffer talked about the future of Telltale’s presence on Nintendo Switch, having this to say:

“The next game you’ll see [on Switch] after Minecraft may very well be the first season of Batman, as it’s still fresh in the studio right now, and we expect to follow it up soon with other titles like Guardians of the Galaxy and Minecraft: Story Mode – Season Two.”

While, in his quote to MCV, Stauffer seems a bit more resigned than to outright confirm Batman would be coming this year, his follow-up tweet on the interview seems to have confirmed so. I’m certainly excited to see Telltale bring its portfolio of games to Switch, as these titles would be perfect to take on the go. Hopefully a solid release date will be announced soon!
