It looks like more third-person action games are coming to Switch! Publisher Another Indie has announced that its upcoming title, Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption, will release on Nintendo Switch in Q3 2018 alongside its Xbox One, PS4, and PC counterparts.

Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption is a Souls-like game in which the story’s protagonist, Adam, a soldier with a dark, crime-ridden past, must atone for his wrongdoing by battling monstrous entities based on the seven deadly sins. One of the game’s hallmark mechanics is that the player sacrifices a part of Adam before each encounter, resulting in reduced health, strength, or equipment—and these debuffs are permenant. If all hope is lost, however, players can resurrect a defeated enemy to regain their lost attribute and try the battle again later.

Here’s what Iain Garner, director of developer relations at Another Indie, had to say on the title:

Sinner allows the player to choose a difficulty that fits them best while facing off in diverse battles. Whether they are in search of the easiest order of bosses to fight or if they want to start the game with the most difficult conditions, Sinner tailors the adventure to them.”

Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption will be available in Q3 of this year for $18.99 USD. Be sure to check out the game’s original announcement trailer below.
