When Pokémon Gold and Silver launched on the 3DS eShop back in September, many fans were wondering: where is Pokémon Crystal? Wonder no longer, because Nintendo has announced that Pokémon Crystal will be coming to the 3DS eshop and to retailers on January 26, 2018. As with the other Pokémon Virtual Console releases, the retail version will the game’s box art along with a download code for the game.
The announcement trailer shows off Celebi, which is obtainable in-game. The trailer also seems to indicate that the game will be compatible with the Pokémon Bank service on day one.
