Japan is Getting ‘Seiken Densetsu Collection’ for Switch

Calling all Mana fans! Square Enix has announced a new Mana collection for Japan, titled Seiken Densetsu Collection, to be released on June 1, 2017 on Nintendo Switch. The collection contains Final Fantasy Adventure, Secret of Mana, and Seiken Densetsu 3—the first three games in the series. Last year marked the series’ 25th anniversary.

According to Famitsu, the Switch version of the game will support a quick save function as well as the ability to change the game’s screen size. The collection will also feature a music mode, allowing players to listen to the game’s soundtrack from the Switch home screen.

There’s currently no word on a western release for this game, but if the game does release internationally, it would mark the first time a localized version of Seiken Densetsu 3 was shipped.

What do you think of this game’s announcement? Are you a fan of the Mana series, or would this be your first time jumping in? If the game doesn’t release in the west, would you get the Japanese version (since the Switch is region-free!)? Let us know by leaving a reply!
