Hero Shooter ‘Paladins’ Coming to Switch on June 12

Ready for some hero shooter action on Switch? Earlier today, Hi-Rez Studios’ Paladins was found listed on the European Switch eShop, and it has since come to the North American eShop as well. The game, listed as the Founder’s Pack, will be launching worldwide on June 12 for $29.99.

Paladins on Switch will run at 60 frames per second and will feature cross-network play with players on the Xbox One version. Currently, the $29.99 Founder’s Pack is the only version releasing on June 12, and it includes all 36 champions found in the current game as well as access to future champions and exclusive cosmetic items.  However, Hi-Rez studios has confirmed that a free-to-play version will launch later this summer.

Paladins is often criticized for being an Overwatch clone, but there are numerous differentiating factors setting Paladins apart, such as magic-based combat as well as a card-based loadout system. Be sure to check out the announcement trailer below.
