After much speculation, we finally have a release date for Golf Story! According to a brief yet pointed tweet from developer Sidebar Games, Golf Story will launch on the Nintendo Switch eShop this Thursday, September 28.
The fact the game will actually see its September release window is a surprise to many, considering it missed its original Summer release (which is still stated as the release window on the game’s website). Golf Story was then set for a September release during the Summer Nindies Showcase, but with the developer’s Twitter account going dark for nearly two months after a somewhat ironic “Twitter would probably be the first place for new updates,” many fans had their doubts about the game releasing on time.
