Classic RPG fans, rejoice! Today marks the release of two packs of classic D&D RPGs on Nintendo Switch, with four games in total. The Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition Pack includes Baldur’s Gate, the Baldur’s Gate: Siege of Dragonspear expansion, and Baldur’s Gate II, while the second pack includes Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition and Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition. Both game packs are available in stores and on the Nintendo Switch eShop for $49.99 each. Both game packs include all previously-released DLC for each included game.
Developer Beamdog has re-tailored these titles for a console experience, including high-resolution widescreen display support, controller-optimized gameplay, UI and UX updates, and more. With positive reviews hitting the Internet, these seem to be can’t-miss Switch ports, and I’m absolutely looking to check these out sooner rather than later.
