Boom-shaka-laka! According to IGN, officially-NBA-licensed NBA Playgrounds has been announced, and it launches next month on all platforms, including Nintendo Switch. Developer Saber Interactive is behind the return-to-arcade-style game, which looks and feels to be in the vein of NBA Jam and NBA Street.

The game features players current and former, as seen in the opening of the launch trailer, where we see Allen Iverson facing off against Steph Curry and George Hill. Every team in the NBA is featured, and the game utilizes “hundreds of over-the-top dunks and moves.” Playgrounds can be played solo, with local multiplayer, or with online multiplayer.
