According to the Super Mario Run Japanese Twitter account, four new Yoshi color variants are coming to Super Mario Run on March 23, alongside the launch of the Android version of the game. In addition to the green Yoshi already in the game, the addition of blue, purple, yellow, and red will be available. It’s unclear as of now how you’ll be able to get these color variants, but it’s likely they’ll be locked behind a coin paywall.
The Yoshi color variants are not purely cosmetic, however; according to the tweet, using a particular color in Toad Rally will make it easier to acquire Toads of the same color.
