‘Diablo 3: Eternal Collection’ Coming to Switch in 2018 With Exclusive Zelda Content

After a Forbes article leaked the news yesterday, Blizzard has officially confirmed the long-rumored existence of Diablo 3‘s Switch port. Titled Diablo 3: Eternal Collection, the game will release in 2018 and will include all previous content—the full Diablo 3 game, the Reaper of Souls expansion, and the Rise of the Necromancer pack.

The Switch version will also include exclusive content from The Legend of Zelda series: a Cuccoo companion pet, a Triforce portrait frame, an exclusive transmog set that will give players Ganondorf’s armor, and unique cosmetic wings.

Though the port has been long-rumored, I’m excited for the quintessential dungeon crawler to finally go portable—and onto a Nintendo platform to boot. To get a taste of the action, be sure to check out the official announcement trailer below.
