Steampunk Shooter ‘Crazy Justice’ Announced for Switch

Looks like the Switch’s shooter library will soon be growing! Developer and publisher Black Riddles Studio has announced their inaugural console title, Crazy Justice, is coming to Nintendo Switch. The game is also slated to come to PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Described as a “third-person shooter game in cel-shaded style with steampunk elements,” Crazy Justice sees the player unlocking new heroes to use across multiple levels based on real-world locations to eliminate hordes of steampunk enemies. The game will feature a single-player and cooperative, split-screen story mode, various multiplayer modes, custom skill decks, a fortification system, destructible environments, and a cover-based shooting system. There will also be cross-network play between Windows 10 and Xbox One, but no word yet if Switch will eventually be a part of this ecosystem.

Based on the description, the game sounds like an interesting cross between the visual style of Borderlands and the Gears of War series’ Horde Mode, sprinkled with that steampunk vibe. I think it’ll definitely make an interesting addition to the Switch’s library, and I’m excited to see where this game goes. The fact that Black Riddles Studios is made up of two brothers who can pump out a game of this caliber tells me they’re an ambitious team. If you’re so inclined, you can check out and even contribute to the game’s campaign fund on the game’s Fig page.
