The fans have been heard! After much championing on social media for a port of the 3DS hit platformer Chicken Wiggle to Nintendo Switch, Jools Watsham and Atooi have launched a brand-new Kickstarter campaign for Chicken Wiggle Workshop, set to hit Nintendo Switch in December 2018.
The Nintendo Switch version will include all-new, hand-painted HD artwork and will feature all the content from the original game, including the main story and level editor and sharing features. Additionally, players will be able to toggle back and forth between the original pixel art of the 3DS version as well as the new HD artwork, and all 1,000+ player created levels from the 3DS version will be downloadable and playable on the Nintendo Switch version.
I’m definitely excited for this one, especially since I never did play the 3DS version. I just backed the project myself, so be sure to back now while the $10 reward tier—which will net you a digital copy of the game on release—while it’s still around.
