Physical game enthusiasts, rejoice! Today, Merge Games has announced a partnership with Romania-based developer and publisher Angry Mob Games to bring Brawlout for Nintendo Switch to retailers across the globe. The game will see its physical release launch in stores early this May.

Here’s what Angry Mob Games’ CEO, Bogdan Iliesiu, had to say on the announcement:

“Brawlout had such an amazing reception on Nintendo Switch, with a dedicated community of over 80K players in its first month alone. It’s impressive, and humbling, to see people throw themselves so wholeheartedly into Brawlout and we hope to cater to even more types of gamers with the physical release!”

There’s no word yet on pricing of Brawlout‘s physical edition, so there’s room to wonder whether or not the game will suffer from the notorious “Switch tax”—a term coined by fans for when a physical Switch game costs more than its digital counterpart due to Nintendo’s rather high cost for cartridges.

Brawlout will also eventually be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with both console release dates listed as “Early 2018” on the game’s website. Check out the mockup of Brawlout‘s Switch box art below, and be sure to take a look at our review of Brawlout on Nintendo Switch.
