7,651 More Players Have Been Banned From Playing Online in ‘Pokémon Sun and Moon’

Cheaters beware! Another 7,651 Pokémon Sun and Moon players have been banned from online play due to altering save data. This comes after an initial 5,954 players were banned from Battle Spot back in January.

According to the Pokémon Global Link (via Serebii), the affected players are banned from using Game Sync as well as participating in Rating Battles, Battle Competitions, and Global Missions. Affected players attempting to use these services will encounter the error code 090-0212. The Pokémon Company will continue to ban players for altering save data without prior warning.

What do you think of this second round of bans? Were you one of the affected players? Let us know by leaving a reply!
