The Best Friday the 13th Switch eShop Deals

Friday the 13th is upon us, and with Halloween right around the corner (hey—it’s never too early), there are plenty of horror movie and game deals to be had today. While there is no explicit “Friday the 13th Sale” on the Switch eShop, we’ve rounded up some of the best deals on horror and horror-themed games on Switch. Take a look!

Among the Sleep: Enhanced Edition ($14.99 $24.99)

In this first-person horror adventure game, you take on the role of a two-year-old toddler roaming the house after dark to find your missing mother. Through exploration and puzzle-solving, you’ll unlock secrets and try to survive long enough to make it through this nightmare. Some critics have decided it’s a half-step toward a Gone Home or a Firewatch, but something in those directions with a horror vibe seems all too fitting for Friday the 13th. Buy it here.

Goetia ($0.99 $9.99)

Goetia is a point-and-click adventure where you take on the role of a young lady’s ghost, Abigail Blackwood. Explore a haunted manor and the family that once lived there in this horror exploration-adventure game. The game is critically lauded, so this seems like a steal for 99¢. Buy it here.

Angels of Death ($10.49 $14.99)

Work with a mysterious partner to escape imprisonment in a sealed building in Angels of Death. Unravel the mystery of how you came to be in this place as you work with this partner to try and escape. For fans of atmospheric and psychological horror, this one seems like a no-brainer. Buy it here.

Werewolf Pinball ($1.97 $2.99)

This is a bit of a different one, but why not, right? If you’re a pinball fan looking for a gloomy setting, this may just be the ticket. With a flashy neon art style and online leaderboards, what’s not to like? Buy it here.

Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle ($6.99 $19.99)

How about an actual Friday the 13th game for a Friday the 13th deal? This is the traditional Jason Vorhees formula with a twist, trading out overt action for smart puzzle mechanics. With over 150 levels, multiple game modes, and a great deal of customization options (such as a “PG mode” for “an almost family-friendly puzzle experience”), what more could you want? Buy it here.

Viviette ($7.99 $9.99)

Viviette is an exploration-horror game in which the player must solve puzzles and avoid the “Monster” that can appear anywhere, anytime. It has a bit of a reputation as a punishing puzzler, but if that’s your speed, you might be in for a treat. With horrifying 3D audio and multiple endings, this one is sure to get you shaking in your boots. Buy it here.

Bedtime Blues ($0.99 $9.99)

This one seems similar to the aforementioned Among the Sleep: Enhanced Edition, albeit in a pixelated art style. This game throws you into the role of a young child as you wander around your home, working to unravel the story of how your teddy bear has come to life and what it’s doing. At a tenth of the original price, what’s not to like? Buy it here.

Aragami: Shadow Edition ($17.99 $29.99)

While technically not a horror game, we feel Aragami: Shadow Edition ticks most of the boxes: dark atmosphere, stealthy and shadowy gameplay, and a horrifyingly beautiful cel-shaded art style. Also, you play as a freaking undead assassin. Buy it here.
